Makena is a California native (Los Angeles & Bay Area) and soon-to-be Chicago local – just as soon as she graduates from Montclair State University with her BFA in Musical Theatre this May!
Known for her quick wit, creativity, and depth, Makena is an authentic, empathetic storyteller. She is passionate about exploring the human condition through musical theatre, film, and songwriting. Her favorite projects are those that are collaborative and innovative, whether they’re new works or bold takes on classics.
Offstage, she loves making jewelry and scrapbooking, exploring antique shops, and playing with her 12-year-old dachshund, Maddie.
